FlowBelow Announces Deals with Daimler, Navistar

FlowBelow Aero Inc., a manufacturer of aerodynamic products for tractors and trailers, said it has secured deals with truck makers Daimler Trucks North America and Navistar Inc. The Austin, Texas-based supplier said it signed an agreement with Navistar to supply two different aerodynamic configurations for the MPG packages of the International LT Series.

Two new OEM placements for its aerodynamic vehicle products were announced by FlowBelow Aero Inc.at an Oct. 27 press conference, held the day before the North American Commercial Vehicle Show opened in Atlanta. A new Custom Drive-Wheel Fairing system will be available on the 2020 International LT Series MPG Package. Navistar and FlowBelow jointly developed the system.

Mesilla Valley Transportation announced that it would be equipping all of its new trailers with the FlowBelow Trailer AeroSlider system. The AeroSlider is an aerodynamic system designed to reduce drag created by the trailer wheels and suspension. The system is designed to complement and provide additional fuel savings when used with other trailer-mounted aerodynamic devices such as trailer side skirts.
