Customer Success Manager

DESCRIPTION

The Customer Success Manager will be responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience for all FlowBelow customers and prospective customers within a large geographic territory. He or She will support sales people, grow our sales thru relationship development with our customers, work with the production team, and ensure customers enjoy doing business with FlowBelow. 

Responsibilities:

  • Enable our field based sales staff to be more effective by being their point-person in the corporate office – answer questions, fix problems, provide information, support their customers, communicate regularly, and help them close deals by developing strong customer relationships. 
  • Proactively develop relationships with customers and dealers in assigned territory via phone. Develop regular communication cadences with top customers and prospects, to ensure we are in touch with our customer base and that they have a point person to contact when necessary. Log all appropriate information in our CRM tool. 
  • Answer inbound sales calls and emails from customers requesting information on our product, parts, pricing, quotes, etc, Follow up as necessary, and coordinate with FlowBelow sales people and our dealers to close sales and support the end users. 
  • Process incoming sales orders – build the orders in our ERP system and communicate internally to provide lead time to customers and sales people. 
  • Uncover opportunities to sell product to new and existing customers through regular communication with sales people, customer base, and dealer networks. Log all opportunities in our CRM and follow up to close deals as appropriate or pass larger opportunities to an external sales team member. 
  • Proactively identify areas that would help FlowBelow provide better customer service, and work with the team to implement new process or programs. 
  • Take direction from sales team members regarding territory support activities. 
  • Do special projects as necessary, to advance sales or marketing initiatives. 
  • Potentially support the team at tradeshows or customer events. Travel may rarely be required. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Shipping Supervisor

DESCRIPTION

The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for the shipment of product to customers both internationally and domestically. The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for the accuracy of shipments and meeting all documented service requirements. This person plans, orders and directs all activities within the Shipping Department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provides daily direction and leadership to the Shipping Department team members; Makes recommendations for manpower needs including involvement in recruitment and selection process as well as employee terminations in the Shipping Department
  • Accountable for staffing, training, motivation and leadership within area of responsibility; Develops a team work environment; Builds departmental standards for performance; Ensures that all employees in the Shipping Department are properly trained
  • Ensures that materials shipped are verified against pertinent documentation
  • Establishes and maintains procedures for determining and meeting company and customer delivery commitments by handling materials, providing labor, and effective use of time
  • Recommends and assists in implementing operating procedures and promotes continual improvement within the department and the company
  • Follows shipping methods for materials using the operations procedures; Resolves emergent issues for expedited deliveries to the customer and/or job site
  • Coordinates import/export of goods by scheduling containers to meet shipping demands; Monitors the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of inbound and outbound shipments; Maintains working relationships with transportation representatives, vendors and suppliers to ensure cost control and competitiveness
  • Interfaces with customers regarding product delivery time schedules, coordinates vendor acceptance programs
  • Interfaces with other departments to resolve problems with timely delivery or disposition of order cancellations
  • Monitors and tracks shipping vendor performance
  • Negotiates shipping costs
  • Schedules and tracks all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Ensures that daily goals are met and sustained daily/weekly/monthly
  • Ensures company policies and procedures are reviewed often and notifies the Shipping & Receiving Manager when such policies or procedures may need to be revised to increase work efficiency in the department
  • Identifies roadblocks to processes and procedures and offers suggestions for improvement
  • Oversees all incoming, outgoing and warehouse movements
  • Complies with ISO and company requirements
  • Ensures that all manufactured products and raw materials are effectively managed to meet all US and foreign government export laws and regulations; Ensures accuracy and proper retention of all export documentation; Manages company’s compliance with applicable US and foreign export regulations; Assists in clearing shipments through US customs; Prepares NAFTA certification; Works with Purchasing to ensure country of origin, HTS, Incoterms and other relevant information is included on packing list/commercial invoice; Performs other duties as required
  • Promotes a safe work environment and ensures that all employees in the Shipping Department are following safety rules and regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and ERP / MRP required
  • Knowledge of and experience with all shipping functions, foreign and domestic, including domestic air bills, international commercial invoices and letters of instruction required
  • Knowledge of and experience with packaging materials used to safely transport all product required
  • Free Trade Zone Agreement knowledge
  • Internet research abilities required

Master Scheduler/Planner

DESCRIPTION

FlowBelow is a fast-moving entrepreneurial company that manufactures unique and patented aerodynamic technologies designed specifically for long haul trucks. Over the past five years the company has experienced tremendous growth by offering its products with factory installation on new tractors as well as partnering with major fleets that have chosen to retrofit thousands of their existing trucks. The company’s products are manufactured right here in the USA and are helping major trucking fleets save tens of millions of dollars in fuel per year.

The Master Scheduler/Planner is responsible for balancing supply and demand at the aggregate volume level with that at the detail mix level. The Master Scheduler/Planner will create, maintain, and communicate the production and supply chain plan to multiple departments to meet all On-time Delivery goals. Also responsible for backwards planning including machine, tooling, labor, and supplier capacity analysis. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the Sales and Operations planning process to ensure the master production schedule satisfies the business requirements
  • Create, maintain, and communicate weekly production schedule with 4+ week planning horizon
  • Balance current and future Customer demand with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure On-time Delivery goals are achieved.
  • Develop/optimize the planning and scheduling system by updating master data and other system parameters (planning calendars, lead-times, time fences, lot sizes, min/max levels, lot sizes, safety stock, etc). 
  • Provide detailed analysis for On-time Delivery, capacity, mid-term planning, and system constraints and propose viable solutions. 
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels and propose strategies for improving turns.
  • Provide clarity and detailed planning for all new program launches and engineering changes to ensure smooth ramp-up/ramp down and to minimize obsolescence costs. 
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain team to ensure parts availability and to define expedite dates and methods.
  • Foster, drive, promote, and participate in constant communication with all relevant departments and stakeholders. Inform business leadership of potential problems, opportunities, and recommend alternatives for improving outcomes.
  • Drive the connection of analytic insights to decisions and real action. Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve the planning and scheduling process. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college/university in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management or equivalent on the job experience.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in Production Scheduling and/or Supply Chain management; MRP experience required. Automotive/heavy truck experience preferred. APICS certification a plus.
  • Full knowledge of material planning systems requirements and order generation process logic.
  • Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts surrounding production planning, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Very strong analytical capabilities – proficient in MS Excel, data analysis and interpretation. Attention to detail is critical.
  • Solid background in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience managing to KPI’s – Schedule Attainment, OTD, Inventory Turns.
  • Working knowledge of business financials and the impact of MPS/demand changes.
  • Ability to create and present data for management review and decision-making.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple/conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent Project Management/leadership experience a plus.
  • Demonstrate judgement, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external Customers.

DESCRIPTION

In light of recent growth, we are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented engineering professional to manage our design release and implementation process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with product development engineering, manufacturing, and sales to coordinate engineering change implementations
  • Manage APQP and PPAP documentation for new products
  • Control manufacturing BOM revisions
  • Participate in DFMEA and PFMEA
  • Manage projects with external engineering departments (packaging development, tooling builds, etc.)

Mechanical Engineer

DESCRIPTION

Summary: FlowBelow is seeking a mechanical engineer with interest in designing mechanical components for the commercial vehicle industry. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Design structural systems for mounting aerodynamic components to truck and trailer chassis
  • Verify durability of all aerodynamic parts and supports
  • Conduct DFMEA on new products
  • Optimize components for manufacturability
  • Ensure all products meet industry and customer standards
  • Quickly design custom parts to adapt existing product to unusual equipment
  • Occasional travel to and interface with customers to determine requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of metal fabrication processes (stamping, welding and coating systems)

Cost Accountant/Financial Analyst

DESCRIPTION

  • Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual product costs.
  • Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs for products.
  • Maintain Cost Accounting System

Accounting/Office Assistant

DESCRIPTION

This position will perform a variety of administrative, clerical, basic accounting, human resources and other general functions to support and maintain the day-to-day operations of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities for Office

Supplier Quality Engineer

Reports To:

Total Quality Manager

Role and Purpose within the Organization:

The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring suitability of incoming material through developing and maintaining supplier evaluation processes, reviewing supplier adequacy and capability to meet FlowBelow requirements, communicating to suppliers regarding performance trends, verification/validation of corrective actions, and other activities necessary to support FlowBelow Operations, Quality and Engineering teams. The SQE will coordinate with cross-departmental teams to ensure supplier performance activities are effective in meeting sales, delivery, quality and financial goals.

Required Qualifications for Job Function:

  • Any combination of 4-year degree and 4 years technical experience in the areas of supply chain/manufacturing operations, 2-year technical degree and 5 years technical experience, or 7 years technical experience
  • Experience with metal manufacturing processes
  • Experience with thermoformed and injection molded processes
  • Experience with Tier 1 Automotive Supplier Requirements is preferred
  • Successful experience in an ISO-regulated environment is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of PPAP and APQP processes
  • Can read, understand, and verify bills of material (BOMs), assembly drawings, engineering tolerances, and other technical information

Responsibilities:

Supplier Quality Support Activities:

  • Reviews customer feedback data and drives corrective action activities associated with part/process improvement
  • Defines First Article acceptance criteria and ongoing Receiving Inspection criteria with assistance from the Quality team
  • Establishes PPAP requirements and maintains incoming/outgoing PPAP documentation
  • Oversees documentation of non-conforming material, supplier corrective actions, and works with suppliers to define root cause and verify effectiveness of actions taken
  • Develops and implements critical destructive & non-destructive quality assurance testing practices (weld evaluation, coating adhesion, torque verification, etc.)
  • Performs onsite supplier evaluations and reviews supplier’s processes against FlowBelow supplier quality standards
  • Makes recommendations to management regarding supplier selection
  • Supports FlowBelow Total Quality Manager with issue containment, resolution, and accountability

Quality:

  • Identifies improvement opportunities through root cause analysis and implements corrective action
  • Coordinates with the Total Quality Manager regarding training needs, metrics and performance
  • Assists the Engineering and Quality teams in implementing change orders

In light of recent growth, we are seeking a highly talented and experienced sales professional that is capable of rapidly generating new business with some of the largest trucking fleets in the nation. Previous national account management experience in the trucking industry is required.

Job Description:

  • Highly targeted sales of FlowBelow’s unique fuel-saving aerodynamic technology to large trucking fleets.
  • Meet with fleet owners and fleet maintenance executives to secure commitments to retrofit existing trucks or order the company’s products on new equipment.
  • Assist with strategically transitioning major regions from direct sales to dealer sales by triangulating relationships between the company, the dealer, and the customer
  • Manage Dealer Rewards Programs to motivate and incentivize dealers to sell the company’s product
  • Deliver live presentations and webinars to dealer principles and new truck sales managers
  • Enter and manage account information on a daily basis using the Company’s CRM system
  • Extensive travel to customer offices, dealer events, tradeshows and conferences on behalf of the Company.
  • Assist with other duties related to sales and marketing as requested

Requirements:

  • Successful track-record of exceeding quotas within an assigned territory of 5-10 states
  • Expertise in direct sales and pull-through dealer sales strategies
  • Extensive technical knowledge of class 8 trucks
  • Experience selling a differentiated or disruptive product or technology to business owners
  • Experience selling equipment within the trucking industry, in particular to business owners, maintenance managers, and dealers
  • Experience in selling products that require the ability to sell a value proposition to the customer using tools such as ROI calculators
  • Willing to travel 75% of the time
  • Able to work remotely with discipline and organization – We are looking for someone who is a self-starter
