Director of Sales - West Coast

Job Description:

  • Highly targeted sales of FlowBelow’s unique fuel-saving aerodynamic technology to fleets and truck dealerships in the long-haul trucking industry
  • Meet with fleet owners and fleet maintenance executives to help obtain commitments from their organizations to order the company’s products on new equipment
  • Manage and continue to build the company’s dealer network by developing existing dealers and also establishing new dealers and dealer groups
  • Strategically transition major regions from direct sales to dealer sales by triangulating relationships between the company, the dealer, and the customer
  • Manage Dealer Rewards Programs to motivate and incentivize dealers to sell the company’s product
  • Negotiate contracts with major class 8 truck and trailer dealer groups such as Rush Enterprises and MHC
  • Deliver live presentations and webinars to dealer principles, parts managers, and new truck sales managers
  • Provide sales training for both the new truck salesmen and parts salesmen at dealers
  • Manage sales blitz and marketing campaigns targeted toward dealers
  • Enter and manage account information on a daily basis using the Company’s CRM system
  • Extensive travel to customer offices, dealer events, tradeshows and conferences on behalf of the Company.
  • Assist with other duties related to sales and marketing as requested

Requirements:

  • Successful track-record of exceeding quotas within an assigned territory of 5-10 states
  • Expertise in direct sales and pull-through dealer sales strategies
  • Experience selling a differentiated or disruptive product or technology to business owners
  • Experience selling equipment within the trucking industry, in particular to business owners, maintenance managers, and dealers
  • Experience in selling products that require the ability to sell a value proposition to the customer using tools such as ROI calculators
  • Willing to travel 75% of the time
  • Able to work remotely with discipline and organization – We are looking for someone who is a self-starter
  • Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial team environment

Compensation:

Competitive compensation package that is based on experience with a base salary, and commission

Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design structural systems for mounting aerodynamic components to truck and trailer chassis
  • Verify durability of all aerodynamic parts and supports
  • Conduct DFMEA on new products
  • Optimize components for manufacturability
  • Ensure all products meet industry and customer standards
  • Quickly design custom parts to adapt existing product to unusual equipment
  • Occasional travel to and interface with customers to determine requirements
  • Occasional travel to test sites

Desired Skills

  • Understanding of over the road truck and trailer systems
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication processes (stamping, welding and coating systems)
  • Knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes (injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion)
  • Strong 3D CAD skills (prefer Solidworks)
  • Expereience with GD&T

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical, aerospace or automotive engineering
  • 2+ years engineering experience, preferably in the transportation or automotive industry

Shop Operations Lead

Job Description:

  • Perform necessary Assembly and Kitting Operations necessary to support the prioritized Customer orders
  • Lead the Assembly and Kitting team effectively assigning task to meet required orders
  • Manage and accurately track work orders and inventory to support the applicable orders.

Requirements:

  • 1 year or more of assembly and kitting experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead
  • Capable of multi-tasking and experience in dealing with defined schedules meeting targets

Accountability for:

  • On-time production of Work orders
  • Producing product of the right quantity and quality to support Customer order needs
  • Accurate Inventory management and reporting of the WIP / Work orders.

Programmer Intern

Job Description:

  • Work closely with the Business Systems Lead to develop new enterprise resource planning system functionality that will better support the needs of the business
  • Maintain, code, document and test programs in compliance with company standards
  • Troubleshoot quality deficiencies to ensure alignment with project specifications
  • Provide technical support to internal clients
  •  Present new coding ideas to assist with continuous improvement efforts

Requirements:

  • Working towards a computer science or equivalent degree
  • Strong Linux, Python, XML, and relational database knowledge through prior internships or coursework
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  •  Ability to multitask and have attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience with frontend and backend web development is desirable
  • 1+ year of coding experience in a Warehouse/Manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with interdepartmental teams
